For those of you who do not know Shakiru, he is both a former national coach in both Guatemala and Mexico, and has trained Mexican world #34 Eric Galvez. Shakiru has also been a coach at the prestigious Princeton Summer Camps where he has worked 18 camps, working with renouned coaches such as Neil Harvey (Peter Nicol's coach). Currently, he is working with Carolyn Russell, the current national women's champion.
The camp will feature special appearances by 2006 Canadian Champion Carolyn Russell. For local players who do not require accommodation, camps will include 2 sessions of training each day, one-on-one coaching and video analysis. This years camp will also feature a training session at Grouse Mountain. This is an excellent opportunity to get first class training.
