Shelley, Jaclyn through to quarterfinals in Cairo – Lana out in Kuala Lumpur
11/12/2008 – Shelley Kitchen and Jaclyn Hawkes are safely through to the quarterfinals of the Sharm El Sheikh Open in Cairo after straight game wins yesterday. Louise Crome is unlucky not to have joined them, going down in 73 minutes in five games and in a tie breaker in the fifth. Joelle King had the misfortune of drawing the top seed but she battled hard taking the first game.

10/12/2008 - Lana Harrison upset 4th seed Tan Yan Xin in Kuala Lumpur to book a place in the NSC Super Satellite tournament's quarterfinals. Amanda Cranston couldn't quite pull off an upset win over 3rd seed Lisa Camilleri although she pushed her to four games.
