Top Players Drive Demand at Squash Worlds |

Squash’s biggest stars are proving to be a massive draw for The Hi-Tec World Squash Championships – Manchester 2008 with tickets selling out fast as the world’s best men and women prepare to battle it out at the National Squash Centre from 11th October – 19th October.
Defending Champions Amr Shabana and Nicol David have been seeded to regain their titles but there will be plenty of home interest for the Manchester crowds with 12 British men, including world number 3 James Willstrop, in the main draw and no fewer than six women, led by Harrogate’s Jenny Duncalf, guaranteed to line up in the women’s main draw.
With very few tickets remaining for the final weekend and all other days selling fast, hopeful spectators are advised not to delay or face disappointment in missing out on the squash spectacular of the year.
Popular demand has seen an Economy Season Ticket launched for the first time, allowing spectators access to all nine sessions of the event for the specially reduced rate of just £36 for adults (standard rate for all nine session is £70) and £18 for juniors (standard rate for all nine sessions is £47.50).
The tickets will be valid from Monday 13th October through to the thrilling finals day on Sunday 19th October when the world’s best male and female players will be battling it out for the title of World Champion.

This weekend sixteen players took part in the inaugural Eventis Coaching Camp at Dulwich Sports Club in south London.
Joining forces with top coach Peter Genever, the Eventis Sports Marketing team have added yet another arm to their growing portfolio of products. The sixteen players were drawn from Dulwich Squash Club and the surrounding area and were put through their paces from Friday through Sunday. Areas covered included movement, weight of shot, technique and shot selection, with some fitness thrown in for good measure! |

The inaugural World of Squash Golf Day took place over the beautiful Coronation Course, at the stunning RAC, Woodcote Park, last week and has been described as a resounding success by all concerned.
The initiative launched by Eventis will brought together golfers from all walks of squash, including players, sponsors, administrators, media and fans of the sport. Travelling from as far afield as South Africa, Germany & Ireland the competitors were treated to a wonderful days entertainment, which stretched from the bacon rolls on arrival to Adrian ‘Wizard’ Davies wrapping things up with an auction in his own entertaining style. |
